Corona virus (Covid-19) Outbreak
We appreciate that the current corona virus outbreak is having a significant impact on the majority of businesses and is resulting in either seeing a change in usual custom or having to temporarily close down.
Your businesses waste production may well be affected by the circumstances we are all experiencing and as such please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance in amending your waste services to suit your business’s current needs.
Refsol is currently very much operational, we are taking all possible measures within our power to enable the continuity of the service and supporting our local authority as much as we possibly can.
Although our drivers and crews have been provided with PPE, we are trying to eliminate as much contact with customers as possible we ask that all correspondence be made to email@example.com, business representatives e-mail accounts, or telephone numbers. Please refrain from approaching crews during this time. Our priority is the safety of all our staff, customers, and the public.
Recycling Centres and ipay – updated 27/05/20 – all centres closed to commercial/trade vehicles.
The Council, in partnership with Fife Resource Solutions, has taken the decision to reopen Recycling Centres from 1st June with restrictions. At present NO commercial waste will be accepted at Fife Council’s recycling centres. Local and national charities are included as commercial customers and cannot use recycling centres for the time being. FRS are working on a system to allow commercial customers to use the ipay accounts at weighbridges and hope to have this operational in the next couple of weeks. There is a lot of work taking place at the landfill sites with increased traffic and we are working to ensure commercial users can access the weighbridges safely. Thank you for your patience.
If there are any householders that require skips to carry out work at their homes then we provide a household skip hire service. Please call us on 03451 551133
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Take care and stay safe.
